Warranty Commitment
Aqua Bath warrants that its products are free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use and service, subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions stated in this warranty policy.
This warranty is provided only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless otherwise approved in writing by Aqua Bath.
Aqua Bath's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to the repair, replacement, or supply of equivalent products at its sole discretion.
Warranty Periods
A. Sanitary Fittings & Shower Systems
1. Brass Body & Internal Casting
10-Year Limited Warranty
Coverage includes:
- Manufacturing defects in brass casting
- Structural defects in faucet body
- Defects affecting normal operation caused by manufacturing faults
2. Ceramic Cartridge
5-Year Limited Warranty
Coverage includes:
- Manufacturing defects causing leakage
- Failure of cartridge mechanism under normal residential use
Exclusions:
- Damage caused by dirty water
- Sand, debris, sediment, or scale accumulation
- Excessive water pressure
- Improper installation
3. PVD Finishes
(Brushed Gold, Brushed Bronze, Gunmetal, Rose Gold, Brushed Nickel, etc.)
5-Year Limited Warranty
Coverage includes:
- Peeling
- Flaking
- Manufacturing defects in coating adhesion
Exclusions:
- Scratches
- Abrasion
- Chemical damage
- Acidic or abrasive cleaners
- Physical impact
- Improper cleaning practices
4. Chrome Finishes
5-Year Limited Warranty
Coverage includes:
- Peeling
- Manufacturing defects in finish application
Exclusions:
- Water spotting
- Surface scratches
- Chemical damage
- Corrosion caused by improper maintenance
5. Hoses, Aerators, Rubber Seals, O-Rings & Consumable Components
1-Year Limited Warranty
Coverage includes:
- Manufacturing defects only
These components are considered wear-and-tear items and may require replacement during normal product life.
6. Thermostatic & Electronic Components (If Applicable)
2-Year Limited Warranty
Coverage includes:
- Manufacturing defects in electronic controls
- Factory defects affecting intended functionality
B. Ceramic Sanitaryware
Water Closets (WC) | Basins | Countertop Basins | Urinals | Bidets
10-Year Limited Warranty
Coverage includes:
- Manufacturing defects
- Structural defects in ceramic material
- Defects affecting normal intended use
Exclusions:
- Impact damage
- Chipping
- Cracking caused by installation stress
- Damage caused by building settlement
- Misuse or abuse
- Damage during transportation after delivery acceptance
C. Flexible Stone Panels
5-Year Limited Warranty
Coverage includes:
- Manufacturing defects
- Delamination caused by manufacturing faults
- Material defects affecting structural integrity
Exclusions:
- Improper installation
- Incorrect adhesive usage
- Failure to follow installation instructions
- Substrate movement
- Structural movement of walls
- Water ingress behind panels
- Natural texture variations
- Natural color variations
- Environmental staining
- Damage caused by impact or abuse
- Damage resulting from exposure to chemicals not recommended by Aqua Bath
General Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
Installation Issues
- Incorrect installation
- Failure to follow installation guidelines
- Improper plumbing work
- Improper substrate preparation
Water Quality Issues
- Hard water damage
- Limescale buildup
- Mineral deposits
- Sediment accumulation
- Corrosion caused by water quality
Maintenance Issues
- Improper cleaning methods
- Use of acidic cleaners
- Use of abrasive cleaners
- Neglect or lack of maintenance
Physical Damage
- Accidental damage
- Impact damage
- Abuse
- Negligence
- Vandalism
Environmental Factors
- Flooding
- Fire
- Natural disasters
- Structural movement
- Excessive humidity
- Exposure to harmful chemicals
Normal Wear & Tear
- Surface scratches
- Minor cosmetic deterioration
- Aging of consumable components
- Color changes due to normal use
Labour & Consequential Damage Exclusion
This warranty covers the product only.
Aqua Bath shall not be liable for:
- Installation costs
- Removal costs
- Reinstallation costs
- Transportation costs
- Project delays
- Accommodation expenses
- Loss of business
- Loss of profits
- Indirect damages
- Consequential damages
Inspection & Claim Procedure
To submit a warranty claim, the customer must provide:
- Original purchase invoice.
- Product photographs.
- Description of defect.
- Installation date.
- Installer details (if requested).
Aqua Bath reserves the right to:
- Inspect the product.
- Request additional information.
- Reject claims where evidence indicates misuse, improper installation, or excluded causes.
Remedy
If a claim is approved, Aqua Bath may, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the product;
- Supply replacement components;
- Replace the product with the same model;
- Replace the product with an equivalent model if the original is discontinued.
No cash refund shall be required unless mandated by applicable law.
Spare Parts Availability
Aqua Bath will make reasonable efforts to maintain availability of spare parts for a minimum period of 5 years from the date a product model is discontinued.
Availability is subject to supplier and manufacturing constraints.
Limitation of Liability
The maximum liability of Aqua Bath under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the affected product.
Goodwill Support
Beyond the stated warranty periods, Aqua Bath may, at its sole discretion, provide replacement parts, technical assistance, or goodwill support. Such assistance shall not constitute an extension of warranty or create any ongoing obligation.
